On December 5, 2017, Imperial Worldwide Inc., and their team took to the fields to raise money for charities local to the Inland Empire area.
Imperial Worldwide Inc., a local marketing firm, based out of Rancho Cucamonga has embraced the holiday spirit in hopes of giving back to its community. Sporting matching shirts, the color blue, and an intense drive for victory, they participated in a local competition raising money for local charities. December 5, they gathered at the Tustin Sports Park with a group of 60 participants ready to work, strategize, and maybe even elbow their way to the top.
Imperial Worldwide Inc., was competing for their own local charity, “City of Hope” a cancer and research center based out of Corona. Specializing in the treatment of cancers most often found in children, City of Hope has made it their mission to practice compassionate care that addresses the needs of each child.
“I’ve always been interested in getting involved with charities and volunteer events especially those that involve children. Being a parent myself, I couldn’t even imagine the pain and tragedy these families feel and it is our job as a community, and members of this society to do everything possible to help others in need.” Evelyn Gomez branch manager of Imperial Worldwide Inc.
Coming in 3rd Place, Imperial Worldwide raised over $300 to be donated to the City of Hope in particular and over $2,500 more to other charities in the area.
“It was a successful day for our team. Not only did we get the chance to participate in team building activities, we got the chance to come together as a group and raise money for people in need which, at the end of the day, is what really matters.”
As 2018 approaches, Imperial Worldwide Inc. has plans to continue giving back to their Inland Empire community and can’t wait to see the immediate and future impact that they are hoping to make as an organization.
